  2. Quick Description:

  4.     This is a Unix tool to do linear regressions (OLS).
  5.     It is fast, works without much fuss and integrates well
  6.     into Unix.  It does many of the things a normal statistics
  7.     package does by way of linear regressions.

  11.     Read the file "Install" for instructions.

  15.     There is a man page in troff form (ols.1) and in plain text
  16.     (ols.man).

  18. EPP: a utility for typesetting results of statistical estimations
  19.  
  20.     This is a related utility shipped with ols.  It is actually
  21.     a general tool for typesetting results of statistical
  22.     estimation into LaTeX form; it is not limited to use with
  23.     OLS.  It is in the file epp2tex.shar.  If you want this 
  24.     functionality, then unpack this sharfile and read the 
  25.     README inside it.

  27.     This is strictly optional!  If you have no interest in
  28.     typesetting results of OLS estimation into LaTeX form, you
  29.     do not need to look at epp2tex.shar.
